A Rocket to the Moon Interview

On a desperate search for a pen, I asked my assistant Anne to ask the woman behind her for one. The end result was her receiving a lecture in the middle of McDonald’s. Our second attempt to locate a writing utensil was going to be placed onto the man in Ray-Ban’s making his way to the restaurant. Upon being in the establishment for less than five minutes, fans immediately recognize him and proceed to follow him back to the venue next door upon his leaving. This man would later turn out to be Nick Santino, Massachusetts native and frontman of A Rocket to the Moon. Founded in 2006, the band was later joined by Eric Halvorsen on bass, Justin Richards on guitar, and drummer Andrew Cook. You can catch them this fall on tour with Hanson on the Shout it Out Tour. This past spring they were on tour with Motion City Soundtrack, fun., and Sing It Loud. Apologies to Eric Read More

All Time Low banned

“Big thanks to the park for not only condoning the macing of kids at an all ages show, but also for fabricating stories in order to ban us.” -Alex Gaskarth (ATL)

According to the members of All Time Low and the lead singer of Boys Like Girls, security at the Arlington, Texas date of the Bamboozle Roadshow maced fans after an attempt to rush the stage at Six Flags. All Time Low has been banned from future performances at the Six Flags theme parks, with the story being put out that they dropped the show. A later tweet posted by Alex stated that,

“A girl who looked to be about 15 walked up to me and said she was removed from the crowd after being maced. Are you Read More

With a new haircut on their leading lady and a fairly recent album, Paramore has released their new music video for their single “The Only Exception” which can be found on their album Brand New Eyes. It stars Hayley Williams in a portrayal of her former disbelief in finding love, then her realizing she has found it with this new relationship. If you enjoyed this, you can catch the band on this year’s Honda Civic tour that they’re headlining with Tegan and Sara which is hitting the road this summer.

John O’Callaghan + David Cook

Posted by Jenn Aguinaldo

I meant to point this out a while ago, but I’ve finally gotten around to it. Has anyone ever noticed the similarity between the Maine’s “Into Your Arms” music video, and the “Come Back to Me” video by David Cook? They both take place in an airport, with the lead singer (The Maine’s being John O’Callaghan) singing after a girl who is about to take flight. Both wishing that she will come back to them. But the biggest similarity is that both videos are both played backwards, showing all of the events going in reverse order. See for yourself, eh?

The World is Listening

Posted by Jordan Mix

All the way from Belgium five piece rock band, Palomine is doing one of the more interesting things ever seen leading up to an album release. Although “Attention Alpha” (their newest album) is finished, it will not be released until the band receives a video message from one person in every country of the world saying “my name is…and I listen to Palomine,” In their native tongue. The most interesting of the videos will be put together to help form the music video for the single “Never be the Same.” Those who send in video messages will receive a digital download of the album before it is officially released. The album is similar to Kings of Leon but has a sound of its own. This project will hopefully be finished in January or February of 2010. I was given the opportunity to exchange a series of emails with Palomine bassist, Levi Lenaerts and the following is our interview regarding the band and their unique project.
