“Live to ride.”

The new installment into the Fast and the Furious series did not disappoint. Fast & Furious was funny and action packed, plus they had some really beautiful cars. Oh, and Paul Walker is in it, so how could you go wrong? I know, some of the girls might be thinking “Ugh! I don’t want to go see this stupid movie” if you are then you’re missing out on a good one. This is obviously more of a guys movie, but that’s alright because I don’t really understand anything about cars and the fact that P.W is in it makes it okay.

In the movie, Dom (Vin Diesel) is wanted for stealing oil. When the cops catch on to him he runs away, leaving his girlfriend behind. Little did he know that while he was on the run she was trying to help clear his name with the FBI. Something goes wrong and it leaves Dom very upset which causes him to seek revenge upon a gang of drug dealers. An FBI agent, Brian (Paul Walker), is sent to work undercover and try to capture the very same drug dealers Dom is looking for. This causes tension between the two; now this is where the action really starts, with a very impressive race between Dom and Brian you really feel like you’re in the car with them. Eventually the two become friends once again, Dom is then punished for his actions and P.W is kicked out of the FBI. The ending of the movie implies that there might be another one of these movies to come, or it just leads into the third movie; which I haven’t seen.

Even though I wanted to see Adventureland more than I wanted to see Fast & Furious (I didn’t realize that they came out on the same day), I really enjoyed everything that it had to offer. Even though at one point I leaned over to my brother and whispered “this movie is kind of boring”, it was just because I didn’t know what more was to come out of this action movie. The stunts were absolutely amazing, the beginning scene was pretty much perfectly executed and very impressive.

Be prepared for: a major twist, Vin Diesel crying, Paul Walker’s best Keanu Reeves’ impression, and your craving to see the first three movies.

Are you sure this isn’t just a lame sequel to a movie that should have ended in the 3rd addition?
