Bradley Vaughn Interview

”Abby passed away, in her sleep,” is a favored line from the hit ”Abby” written and sang by Virginia native Bradley Vaughn. His soft, calming voice is heard throughout all of his songs and although it may not sound it, his heart is really in his newest project which is a hardcore band he’s forming. He’s ready to scream, thrash, and mosh around stage again. This boy has bitten off part of his tongue (oh, very lovely), gotten a shiner, stuck on crutches, and pierced a vein in his lip filling his mouth with blood. The least you could do is listen to his killer music. I interviewed this green-eyed boy man to see what he’s really about.
Q) If a label offered to sign you, would you accept all that it entitles (touring, releasing an album..) ?
A) It all depends on the type of label, what they had to offer, and how much creative control they would allow me
Q) Current goal ?
A) As of now i’m starting a new band. its being kept under wraps until we are ready to be heard, but it will be amazing. I’m actually moving out of state for this band so lets hope it goes well.
Q) chicken, fish, or steak ?
A) ice cream =)
Q) What do you ALWAYS carry with you aside from the normal things (ipod, phone, chapstick..) ?
A) I have a bag that i take EVERYWHERE. inside it has
everything from a notebook (for lyrics) to several brushes (cause I’m picky about my hair)
Q) Creepiest/weirdest thing a fan has ever done?
A) Haha whoa. well i get alot of random people in malls and whatnot that ask me to sign stuff or that just freak out in general when they see me. but i guess when someone asks me to sign a body part is when i get a little freaked out
Q) Best concert experience ever had ?
A) um, i played about 2 hours from where i live once and i had about 200 people come out to see me. they all sat around the piano and sang along, but once i started playing “Abby”, half of them broke down crying. it was an amazing experience
Q) First band you were in ?
A) Goodbye August
Q) Do you ever feel like girls (sometimes guys) give you these compliments just because of your looks or do you think they really appreciate the music and what you do? i hope that made sense.
A) um, it goes both ways. i get a lot of messages, and one will be about how a song has helped them through a rough day, the next will say “you are hott” and then the next one is about music again and back and forth.

I went to one of Bradley’s shows when he was in his first band,Goodbye August.It was an incredible night and his music set the mood.Bradley’s voice is one that you will never forget.Hope to see another one of his shows very soon.all the best luck. :)

I love brad, his song Abby has made me cry many times when i hear it! His sweet voice is just the most awsome voice ever!!!!! ILY BRAD!!!!!

Bradley Vaughn is an amazing singer. I listen to his music every single chance I get. He’ll be big someday I just know it.

i have been listening to bradley’s songs on myspace.
and think that he has an incredible future.
i hope that he continues to make such amzing music and that he gets signed so his music can really be “out there”

All of you say this, but have no idea who this kid really is. He’s the most immature person there is in all of the planet, he has no respect for anyone that doesn’t like his music, or isn’t some scene chick that is way too underage for him. By the way, that so called “shiner” got there by hitting himself in the face with a hammer because he couldn’t take the pressure of being rejected by someone actually his age.
